Hats are a must for most travel for someone over the age of fifty. Sun, wind and water can be deadly. Protection against the sun and wind is essential. This is where you can show your personality and still be practical.
Many companies have specialty hats for a certain activity, but those hats may fit for many functions. A small fold-up hat is great to carry if you do not know if you will need it. A larger hat gives you more coverage. Make sure you have a way to fasten your hat to your clothes!
