Takoma Ted Music CD's
We like reviewing good music from little known artists. Takoma Ted is a nice combination of blues, bluegrass and folk. We found the songs upbeat and enjoyable to listen to. The songs are written by Ted and present a universal joy of living and the outdoors. We reviewed two CD's and enjoyed the message delivered in each. He has a pleasant voice and is very talented on the guitar.
Blue Notes Between the White Blazes - Anyone who has backpacked, especially on the Appalachian Trail, should relate to this music. Takoma Ted draws from his own experiences on the trail. Be sure to read his story on the inside of the cover.
Still on the Road to Somewhere – We feel this CD will appeal to a wider audience. The songs have more variety and we especially like the one that is only guitar, what talent!
