Rambler's Way Wool Clothes and Base Layers

Fifty Sense Seal of Approval

Rambler's Way, co-founded by Tom and Kate Chappell in Maine, is a company that pays homage to America's rich history as a textile producer, while breathing new life into the domestic wool industry, through their collaboration with farmers and producers around the country.

All of their clothes are 100% American Made. From the sheep to the textile manufacturers to the garment makers, their wool comfortwear is designed, sourced and made entirely in the USA.

They create superfine worsted wool garments, while maintaining high standards of ecological responsibility, community involvement, and customer satisfaction.

Women's L/S Cross neck

This wool baselayer has proven to not only be one of the softest, most comfortable wool pieces that I have ever owned, but it also performed extremely well.

Made with a luxurious knit from superfine Rambouillet wool, a close cousin to the Merino sheep, it is incredibly soft against the skin.

It has an attractive neck line, long sleeves, and "S" curve seams for a flattering fit. I often find myself snagging this piece not only to wear as a baselayer, but as a casual wear top.

Thanks to the fact that it is made of wool, which is naturally microbial it withstood the challenge of multi use without offense. I wore it skiing and then over to the lodge and no one was the wiser!

The all natural wool comfortwear offers the ultimate in quality, made with sustainable and ethical business practices. Chemical-free, with no synthetic dyes, stabilizers or chlorine. And best of all- this wool is machine washable!
